Brethren, we are in full drive mode for our Masonic Year, with Lodges coming back together. Get on out to your Lodge if you haven’t been in a while; your Lodge Brethren will welcome you with open arms. Your Lodge needs you!

District Charity

R.W. Bro. Doug Stewart has been working diligently to establish the District Charity in collaboration with the Masonic Foundation of Ontario (MFO). I am pleased to report that the MFO has accepted our Huron District Charity and has assigned a specific number to the charity for reference when making donations. All monies raised will be matched with a top-up percentage of 33% from the MFO. My goal is to raise $15,000, excluding the top-up additional value. It may be an ambitious goal, but I have confidence in our District.

The three brick & mortar buildings are:

  • Huron Hospice: 98 Shipley Street, Clinton
  • Jessica’s House Hospice: 70776 London Road, Exeter
  • Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth: 80 Greenwood Drive, Stratford

Please consider donating to this year’s district charity. HURON DISTRICT CHARITY NO. 2555

District Social Events

District Remembrance Day Participation: On Sunday, November 9th, 2025, the Huron District Freemasons will participate in the St. Marys Remembrance Day Parade. This event will start at the Royal Canadian Branch No. 236, located at 66 Church St. N, St. Marys. The event lineup is at 12:15 PM sharp. This is a full regalia event for all Brethren. I encourage you to participate in your local event to represent your Lodge. However, if this is not the case, please consider participating in the St.Marys event. It’s a powerful and positive image to see Freemasons participating in a public Remembrance Day event in full regalia. I look forward to a great showing to honour those who fought for our country and freedom.

District Grand Master’s Banquet: The Huron District Grand Master’s Reception will be on Friday, November 28, 2025, in Mitchell, Ontario. I would like to see representation from all Lodges in the District in a show of support for our Grand Master, M.W. Bro. Jamie R. Ireland. Currently, we are at 72% of Lodges participating. I would like to see that number up over 90% representation. Non-Masons are allowed to attend the event. This is an excellent way for an interested candidate to be part of something that doesn’t happen every year within our Huron District.
