Electronic Voting Returns for Grand Lodge 2025

Electronic voting is returning for the 2025 Grand Lodge elections, allowing eligible members to cast their votes securely online. With key dates in June and July for District and Grand Lodge positions, it's essential to register in advance. Speak with your lodge secretary to ensure you're ready to participate.

Brethren of the Huron District,

The Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario has confirmed that electronic voting will again be utilized for the 2025 elections. This process ensures all eligible members can participate securely and conveniently from anywhere with internet access.

Two separate elections will take place:

  • June 2025: Election of District Deputy Grand Masters (DDGMs)

  • July 2025: Election of Grand Lodge Officers (including Board of General Purposes)

All voting will be conducted using software provided by Grand Lodge, and participation requires prior registration.

Key Dates for DDGM Election:

  • Voter Registration: June 9 (9:00 a.m.) to June 13 (4:00 p.m.)

  • Voting Period: June 16 (9:00 a.m.) to June 17 (4:00 p.m.)

  • Run-off (if needed): Evening of June 17

Key Dates for Grand Lodge Officers Election:

  • Voter Registration: July 7 (9:00 a.m.) to July 11 (4:00 p.m.)

  • Voting Period: July 14 (9:00 a.m.) to July 15 (4:00 p.m.)

  • Run-off (if needed): Evening of July 15 to noon on July 16

Important Reminders:

  • Registration is mandatory for participation.

  • Lodge officers listed in the system in early June will be eligible to vote.

  • Members without personal access to digital devices must coordinate with their lodge secretary to ensure participation.
